“Snuggle Bug Gifts Etc.” actually started out as a Party Plan business called “Gifts Etcetera”, set up after I left a very busy Management position in the Leisure Industry. Wow, what fun it was to be invited to everyone’s party and what a satisfying feeling to watch people think kindly of treating their friends or of course themselves to a beautiful gift. Back then in early 2007, I was selling ceramics, Glass, candles and home wares….heavy stuff when you’re carrying boxes in and out of venues…which was fine until I found out that I was pregnant! It seemed that the heavier I got, the heavier the boxes became!

So I used my head and decided to sell jewellery instead….one box was all I needed!

Then, following the birth of our beautiful daughter, Anna Elizabeth, the world of motherhood completely changed my perspective. All I could think about was Anna and what an amazing yet daunting responsibility she was! All I seemed to do was talk about babies, read about babies, dream about babies, oh and of course there were the sleepless nights and the pacing for hours singing nursery rhymes I thought I had long since forgotten! This was where I was meant to be, I was happy, and being happy is a very powerful motivator. This is where Snuggle Bug Gifts Etc was born.

I recognised that mums, especially of young children, don’t have time to go out and browse the high street for gifts, nor do they have much time for parties………so I simply changed my business model and started holding parties for mum’s, selling gifts and accessories for baby, little ones and of course, not forgetting mum herself!

The parties have gone down a storm, not simply because of the lovely range of gifts Snuggle Bug offers, but because many new mums need the social contact of getting together with other mums, for advice, reassurance, to let off steam! And not forgetting the opportunity to make new friends.

The Snuggle Bug Gifts Etc. website offers those mums and any others who would visit the site, the opportunity to browse and choose gifts and accessories at their leisure, with the benefit for those who have attended a party, being that they have seen and experienced the quality of Snuggle Bug gifts.
